EJEBEN – A QUIET GIANT OF HUMANITY, CELEBRATING A LIFE OF SELFLESS SERVICE.

In a time when many seek recognition before rendering service, there stands a man whose works speak louder than any political ambition or public applause, Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben.

As someone who has been watching the philanthropic activities of Chief Wilson Ejeben with keen interest for over a decade, I write with deep gratitude and admiration for a man whose life has become a beacon of hope, compassion, and unwavering commitment to humanity.

Multiple Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben, the Isio of Udu Kingdom, the Bobaselu of Ugbo Kingdom and Obarisi of Ughievwen Kingdom, the Chief Executive Director (CEO) of Wiltro Oil and Gas, has distinguished himself not just as a successful businessman, but as a rare philanthropist whose generosity flows without boundaries or conditions.

From the heart of Aladja Community his hometown, Ogbe-Udu, Oginibo, Emadadja, Otor-Ughievwen Communities all in Delta State, his impact has spread across villages and towns of Nigeria most especially in Ugbo Kingdom in Ondo State, Edo, and even Rivers State. For over a decade, he has consistently taken it upon himself to renovate the popular Udu Bridge with fixing of strong and durable painted handrails, ensuring safe passage for thousands.

His interventions in education are nothing short of extraordinary sponsoring thousands of JAMB and WAEC forms for students across Udu, Ughelli South, and Ughelli North, all without any political undertone or personal gain. Through the Wilson Ejeben Foundation, he has renovated town halls, family halls, quarter halls, and even mosques across Nigeria, promoting unity and development regardless of religious or cultural differences.

Chief Ejeben’s generosity extends to the most vulnerable in society. He has sponsored several successful life saving medical surgeries, awarded scholarships to students studying in Higher institutions across all faiths, Christians, Muslims, and traditional worshippers and continues to provide stipends to the elderly men and women of Aladja Community. During festive seasons, his kindness shines even brighter as he distributes wrappers, food items including cows, bags of rice, groundnut oil, live chickens, and cash gifts to the less privileged.

Over the years, he has constructed over 30 boreholes with overhead tanks across various communities in Nigeria, and he is currently undertaking the construction of an additional 15 in rural areas, which, according to him, are already over 50% completed and will soon be delivered for public use, as the importance of drinking clean water cannot be over-emphasized.

His contribution to infrastructure is equally commendable, with over 600 street lights installed across Udu, Ughievwen Kingdom and Igbokoda Ilaje communities, as well as continuous repairs of failed road sections all funded personally. Beyond his humanitarian efforts, Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben is a family man, happily married to a God fearing and calm wife, and blessed with wonderful children.

His Country home in Aladja stands not just as one of the finest edifices in the community, but as a welcoming space open to all. His humility, accessibility, intelligence, and dedication have rightfully earned him over 50 local, national, and international awards. Today, as the Chairman of the Urhobo Palace Representatives on Oil and Gas, his leadership continues to reflect the same values of service and integrity.

My brothers and sisters, today is not his birth anniversary but please join me to celebrate and pray for a man who has made a positive significant impact, a successful businessman, a servant leader and peace advocate Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben, a vessel of kindness and compassion.

I pray to God to bless him abundantly for every life he has touched and every burden he has lifted, his generosity with divine health, peace, and continuous prosperity. Let his legacy inspire many to rise and serve humanity with pure hearts. God please teach us all to give without seeking reward, just as Chief Wilson Ejeben has done faithfully. And may we, as a people, emulate his noble deeds daily, building a better and kinder society.

Sir, on behalf of myself, friends and family, I say thank you, Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben your life is a testament to what true greatness means not in words, but in consistent, selfless action. May your legacy continue to inspire us and generations yet unborn.
